Hiya, I hope you all are doing well! Today I’d like to share with you a song that is rather special to me, a song I’ve wanted to write for years but struggled with until now. A song dedicated to somepony I care deeply for, without whom I sincerely doubt I’d be here making music. My dearest Octavia, a most intimate muse...for her I’ve wanted to write a song, but for years I feared my abilities simply couldn’t do her justice. But now I finally felt up to the task of pouring the entirety of my soul and passion into a song, and with the perfect inspiration I set out to compose this piece, a song that captures a scene close to my heart. A scene for which I hope my song serves as an adequate description.

As I was nearing the completion of composing this piece, I was suddenly struck by an inspiration for lyrics to accompany the second half of the song. Sadly, I’ve not the skills to implement vocals and nor did I have the time to do so, but I’ve included them in the video on Youtube as well as below. Even if they aren’t sung alongside the music, I do hope you’ll find them enjoyable nonetheless. Thank you for allowing me to share this with you!
